What is The Inner Life For and How to Achieve Happiness Through Spiritual Psychology?

When we want to find ourselves, we need to act.

What is the recipe to happiness, I’m asking myself this question every day. But how are we supposed to act? Through our mind, our physical body, our soul, or a combination thereof? Is the feeling of happiness and joy, is only caused by positive experiences, or fragments in our life, or is it the whole life in it? Including pain, grief, sadness, and all the specter of emotions. What are the tools and how to use them in the right way? How do we know that we are not ignorant, and how do we know if one is a genuinely good person?

We often hear about the need to live the inner life However, the information heard does not always go into practice, Let’s understand what the inner life is and why it is so important to understand its benefits.

Spiritual writings have said that the correct life leads to the highest goal of human life — a relationship with God. However, this is hindered by our sins and desires, which destroy our fate. Usually, we live by desires, while the right life is based not on them, but on knowledge.

When we are strongly obsessed with ourselves and think about our problems, this does not bring happiness to either us or those around us. When a person begins to live for people, it is already better. Then one gains great happiness and is, purifying his existence. When we commit bad deeds, we accumulate negative “Life points”. It manifests itself through character and disturbs the perception of life. One cannot see any more clearly, because the lens that we are using to see the world is dirty now.

Such a person eventually begins to see only shortcomings in others and becomes eternally dissatisfied, it is impossible to please this type of person.

A reasonable person tries to see good features in people and not pay attention to bad ones. Seeing better is not a sign of stupidity, but a sign of great work on oneself. Because sins are still visible, just a reasonable person does not attach importance to them, believing that this is not the main thing in a person. One must not forget to punish if the behavior has been bad, but the punishment should be done through love.

When a person tunes in to something good, it is difficult to make one mad/angry, or upset. Being in a difficult situation or participating in a negative conversation, won’t disrupt and cloud one’s mind. The ability to speak kindly to a person and treat him well, despite his bad behavior, is the indicator of inner life.

If a person is not hurt, then his mind is “turned on”. Because as soon as the pain appears in us, the mind immediately “shuts down”. If a person painfully perceives the situation, then he can no longer assess this situation correctly. He needs help. Therefore, a person should not live in pain or resentment. In this state, the mind cannot work, and a person cannot correctly assess the situation. The inner life is a life in which there is no pain. When a person’s soul is heavy, one cannot live the inner life. One’s consciousness is directed to the object of pain, and problems in the family or at work completely absorb his thoughts. This is how the outer consciousness manifests itself. The inner life leads a person to victory over fate. Because fate acts in such a way that a person attaches to insults like fish on the hook. Resentment, anger, frustration, misunderstanding, and depression enter our lives because we do not want to work on ourselves. We let these feelings right into our hearts and live with them for years.

- Through this hook, then all the bad power enters the person. All illnesses and all bad things in fate enter through these feelings. However, most people do not know how to live their inner life. They have no experience, so they are unhappy in their lives. Because happiness is produced in the human heart, it is not produced in some external matter. We have many examples showing that happiness comes from ourselves, not from external, material “objects”. A good example is famous musicians, and actors, who have let their lives away by making suicide. Although they had everything perhaps, they were missing inner life. Connecting spirit with your mind and body is a very complex journey, but I promise it is the most rewarding one. The inner consciousness is the inner life. This is a life in which a person communicates with the purity of other people. Dirt is visible to everyone, but you have to try to see the cleanliness. It is not visible to the eyes, but only to the heart. If there is no deep relationship with a loved one, then there is no inner life and happiness between them. When a crisis comes, such a family is very difficult to save. And usually one needs to start working on oneself, but what happens in many cases is that we wait when the other person will start to change, because of us, and we do not consider our fault in any case. For a deep relationship to develop, you need to work on it. Because the amount of happiness is determined by the number of internal relationships. Happiness means a deep understanding of people, and a desire to do something for them, to help them somehow. Happiness is in the realm of soul life, not in the realm of entertainment. And spiritual life begins with labor. What are the reasons why we cannot succeed in happiness?People often ask for guidance, a secret, or a ritual on how to become happy. Even when one seems to know the recipe of how to be happy, still is not feeling this extraordinary state of mind. What do you think? Being always happy would be good. I think it would be extremely frustrating. Let us put aside happiness for a moment and travel with our minds to a beautiful garden, where flowers are blooming, people passing by with a petite hint of a smile, and a slight breeze coming through our fingers, while walking thru this magnificent garden. Then you stop for a split second with your eyes closed, you take a deep breath and a smile arises upon your face. You feel tingles coming up your arms and rushing towards your area of the heart. You feel warmth, you feel happy. How long would one want to be in this euphoria? it is a beautiful feeling when you can almost grasp it, almost smell it, that’s the magic about being happy, that you know that it exists and you will definitely feel it once in a while, and then these moments will be precious. It is up to you how often you want to feel and be in this state of mind. Important is to have a balance.

There is one big point that I want to mention, and that is: Misdirected mind There are two categories of people. Some people expect happiness from the outside, that is, from the people around them. This is called “external consciousness” or “externally oriented personality.” Modern education is built on the fact that the most important thing is to achieve success in society, earn a lot of money, live beautifully, have a phone of the latest model, relax in prestigious resorts, etc. We are putting all our energy into external, materialistic things, and there is no energy left for our inner world. People believe that when everything is fine on the outside, then everything will work out for them — inside. This is one way to relate to life. The second option: when everything is fine inside me, then everything will work out for me outside. One option is external when a person believes in external happiness, and the second is when consciousness is directed inward. The second option is the right one to become a happy human. Our endless search for happiness and eternal dissatisfaction with our lives comes from the mind. The mind wants new experiences, a change of scenery, and pleasure. However, the mind is the basis, and it is he who governs the understanding of happiness. The mind controls relationships and seeks happiness in them. But you should know that the mind always depends on the mind, so intelligent people have everything under control. Without developing the mind, a person goes on about his feelings and becomes a slave to his desires. As a result, his idea of happiness becomes false and superficial.

There are tools for the mind that keep it healthy balance. One of them is the connection with nature, being outside of the concrete jungle and integrating within nature not only by living next to it. One can do that by walking in the fields, which will give us the power of the mind, and swimming, which will calm us down, but the important here is to have moved it will free us from depression. Nature and society have always been in unity, which will remain as long as the Earth and Man exist. And in this interaction of nature and society, the natural environment, as a necessary natural prerequisite and the basis of human history as a whole, has never remained only a passive side that is constantly affected by society. It has always had and continues to have a significant impact on all aspects of human activity, on the very process of social life, on social progress in general, slowing down or accelerating it, and its role in different regions and in different historical eras

• Nature gives strength to our mind

• Nature gives power to our body

• Because of nature humans exist

We need to respect our happiness as it would be the highest moral aspect of one’s life. Happiness should start from one’s inner world and project it to the outside world, which includes people, nature, and animals. I want to go even further and add, all alive and what’s considered not alive, (in our minds). Taking care with love to the beautiful things around us, seeing that there is beauty even in the simplest, meaningless things that surround us.
